Music & Golf

A guitar that buddy holly played
(the recording studio buddy holly recorded in too)

So this senior loves music, Buddy Holly, and golf. So we obviously incorporated all of that in his senior pics. We went to the Norman Petty recording studio and got a tour of the place. This is wear Buddy Holly and the Crickets recorded a bunch of their famous songs like Peggy Sue. Then we went to the public golf course and I swung an iron 7 or something like that on the driving rage and I hit the ball along with a chunk of grass. It was such a nice day too. Another perfect day for photographing outside. His mom has part ownership of Shabby Divas and just reminder Shabby Divas will be open March 23rd and 24th. If I'm wrong let me know.

These pictures are so cool!! The one with the piano, microphone and guitars is my favorite. I think it is really cool/special that the pictures were taken in such a historically significant place. Very cool.

These are really cool!! Buddy Holly was from Lubbock and you were too. :) I love how you incorporate so much of their personality and interests!

Hey--

Not to be pedantic, but those are Murph guitars that guy's playing, and, as cool and rare as they are (I'd love to have one) they were all built years after Buddy died. So, sadly, Buddy couldn't have played it.
