To the high school seniors who have had a session with me I just want to remind you to get your graduation announcements if you haven't already. They are $60/25 pkg.

Yep, I'm already taking in orders for senior announcements. If you are a senior that has had a session with me, place your order soon and it will be one less thing to do when the hussel and bussel come around.
I am going for an Urban Outfitters design on the front of the cards.

A great 2008

Thank you clients for a great 2008 year. I can't wait to see what 2009 has in store. Happy New Year to you and your families and be safe. I will be out of the office until January 5th, so if you send me an email I will get back to you next week.

I felt so special...

I had a great weekend of sessions. My last session for the evening on Saturday was an engagement session. They drove in from Lubbock just for our session. Just that alone makes me feel special, but even more so was the awesome surprise gift they gave me.
Tara and Zach you both are so cool! These two are so thoughtful. After our session, they handed me this huge basket full of my favorites. ( I have them listed on my website so people will get to know me better) And not to mention, the basket was put together by my favorite candy store, the Candy Wrapper in the Lubbock mall. There were hot tamales, gushers, sour patch kids, a variety of minty and fruity gum, my favorite scent from bath and body works-Sensual Amber in foam soap, moisturizing soap, antibacterial soap, lotion, shower gel, and a candle. AND laffy taffy! (as a kid I grew up eating laffy taffy-I love to read the O so cheesy jokes). Oh, and a cute pedicure set.
When they gave this to me I cried a little and gave them a big hug, because no one has ever given me something like this before. And it was so well thought out and planned. It was just what I needed. It hit the spot big time.

When you call to schedule your session with me, you will be happy to know that I now accept credit cards. This is going to make a bunch of people happy I know for sure, especially me. So if ya want to pay with credit card, cash or check be my guest. Just know you now have the option of using your Visa, MC, or Discover with Cristy Cross Photography. Rack up those frequent flyer miles baby!

Graduates of 2009, I'm already booking senior sessions and I'm almost booked already for Sept and moving on to October and November. I'm only taking in so many sessions a week so I still have time to hang out and play with my family. So hop to it if ya want me to take your senior pics.

So I received a call a couple weeks ago about winning an award for being the Best of Clovis 2008 photographer. I was so happy and couldn't believe it. It was an award given out by the newspaper here in Clovis and we don't get the newspaper so I had no idea it was going on. People write in who they want to be the winner on several different categories like the best bakery, dry cleaners, hair salon, yadda yadda yadda, photographer. And well I guess several people wrote my name in and I won. I feel so honored and so blessed! I don't know who all selected me, but thank you thank you thank you thank you from the bottom of my heart I want to thank you. If you were someone who wrote my name down for this lovely award leave a comment below so I know and can personally thank you. I would also like to do a little contest if ya don't mind. For the person to winI am going to give you a prize. I don't know what yet, but I'm want to do something nice for you since you did something so so nice for me.

I received this fun certificate and some cool stickers that I can put on my car or in the window or wherever else I may want to brag about this super fun award.
Praise the Lord for this award. I give all the glory to God :)

Also, I wanted to announce I was chosen to be Best of Clovis 2008 Photographer. I'm so excited and completely taken back. I feel so blessed. I couldn't do any of this without God being apart of this business. Praise the Lord :)

Website News

I hope you have had a chance to look at the new website. You might be having problems viewing the website at night, but it works great during the morning and day time. It is still being worked on and will soon be up and running in great condition.

Web Galleries are up

The web galleries are back up. If you were unable to open your web galleries yesterday, they are now up. I have no idea what happened, but thankfully you can view them now.

Online Viewing problems

The online viewing web galleries are having problems right now. I have tried to view them for the past hour and no luck. My web gallery is working on the problem and it will hopefully be up later tonight. Keep checking back if you are having difficulty viewing your web galleries.

Plano, Tx Kidney Walk

One of my best friends, Adrienne is raising money for the Plano, Tx Kidney Walk. They are trying to reach a goal of $3,000. If you can find a way to set aside one day of lunch money (and pass along the request to just one other person), I have a feeling they will reach their goal in no time!!!
